Safety and community guidelines
We follow these rules so that LyLi stays a space where people living with lymphedema and lipedema can share safely.
Share experience, not sales or ads
You can talk about your own experience, a product you use or a method that works for you. Selling products or services, giving prices, taking orders and posting ads are not allowed. Businesses appear only with a business account and moderator-approved ads.
Be respectful
No mocking, belittling or shaming over body, looks, weight or health. Everyone’s path is different; respect different views.
Share health information with care
Posts are personal experience, not medical advice. Do not post promises of certain results, diagnoses or medicine recommendations. For diagnosis and treatment, consult a health professional.
Respect privacy
Do not share other people’s photos, names or health information without their permission. You decide what to disclose about your own health; you can hide some fields on your profile.
Block and report
You can block an account that bothers you and report a post that breaks the rules. Reports are reviewed.
Moderation
Posts are checked with AI assistance to find advertising and selling; moderators review reports. Content that breaks the rules may be removed and accounts that break them may be restricted.
